In truth, it's just one of many stories that makes her the person she is. A few years back, Donna began to have issues with her hearing in one ear. A couple doctor appointments later we learned that she had a (thankfully) benign acoustic neuroma, which is a tumor against your brain stem. They told us it was the best brain tumor you could ever hope to have, and luckily they were right. We decided to tell her story because there are a lot of understandably frightened folks who receive the same diagnosis. We wanted them to know that positive outcomes are very common.
